Services climatiques pour la pratique : NCCS-Impacts dans la dernière ligne droite
"NCCS-Impacts" reaches an important milestone: With NCCS-Impacts, a national programme was implemented for the first time through a close partnership between federal institutions, universities and private-sector organisations that systematically examines the relevant effects of climate change across sectors and disciplines.
Over the past three years, several projects have developed practical climate services for the environment, the economy and society. These are intended to serve as a basis for decision-making by stakeholders in politics, administration, the private sector and research on measures to prevent greenhouse gas emissions and adapt to climate change.
The programme is jointly supported by all members of the NCCS. A central aim of the NCCS-Impacts programme is to bridge the gap between scientific basis and actionable measures and to ensure that the climate services developed are widely
available.
Consolidation of results and completion in autumn 2026
The results of the projects will be published in the coming months. A final event will follow in autumn 2026 as part of the Climate Forum Switzerland. The programme results will be made available in a comprehensive overview – by consolidating and classifying the findings and highlighting cross-sectoral connections.
