Monitoring of Policy Coherence for Sustainable Development in a North South Context
Synthesis report on how to measure the coherence of Switzerland's development policy.
CDE, ETH NADEL Center for Development and Cooperation and SDSN Switzerland have developed and implemented a methodology that makes it possible to measure how coherently Switzerland is positioned in terms of development policy. In the present study, the instrument is applied to the area of illicit financial flows. A set of indicators was developed that capture coherence gaps relating to transparency in the tax, corporate and trade area, but also in relation to corporate taxation, the protection of whistleblowers, the regulation of tax avoidance enablers and corporateresponsibility.
